LION
Ruler in the domain of boneless and bone-in products. With 400 cuts per minute and large 350 mm x 240 mm ; 13 4/5" x 9 1/2" (breadth by depth) in-feed chamber, the Lion slicing and portioning machine combines efficiency with sufficient space for numerous cutting applications. It is a further, more powerful addition to our range of elegantly designed slicing and portioning machines, aimed at supermarkets and industrial users.
With the Lion, it is possible to cut large bone-in as well as boneless products, such as bacon, spare ribs, chops and "T-bone" steaks, or dairy products, such as cheese, either fresh, chilled or deep-frozen to - 4°C. The standard Lion is equipped with an adjustable reverse travel device, which enables the gripper to be returned to a pre-set starting position, thus cutting loading times.
Treif's patented dynamic feeding system (DVS) continuously pushes the product forward to the blade, an important pre-condition for precise slice thicknesses and clean cutting. The Lion electronic model also has the capacity to store cutting programs. This makes the machine easy to handle, while guaranteeing consistently high cutting quality. Further features of the Lion are residual product optimisation, to reduce wastage, and the blank-cutting technique, which enables products to be finely shingled or stacked on the out-feed conveyor. In addition, the product being processed can be divided into different sections so that slices of approximately equal weight can be achieved.

The Lion-CE is equipped with a selection mode for both single and double blade operation. Depending on the type of product, special blades are available, such as the partly serrated single blade for bone-in products.

The Lion-CE is especially suited to cut large products.
