ZEBRA

The ZEBRA has a slicing gridset which is particularly well suited to cutting fresh and soft products into thin slices. In one operating process, this slicing and portioning machine can cut different products into slices of varying thicknesses, depending on the combination of gridset sizes selected. The precision of the machines cutting performance is achieved by means of highly polished, double-ground gridset blades.

The ZEBRA's target group are customers in large-scale catering businesses, supermarkets and industry. One benefit of this machine is that customers are not tied to one location as the ZEBRA uses a 16 ampere three-phase current power point instead of compressed air.

Loading is simple and safe. After being placed in the chamber, the products are pushed through the gridset by a feeding ram. Cumbersome products are held in place by a set-down holder which moves along with product infeed to ensure the product is held at the right place at the right time. This way customers can be sure that all products receive the best possible cut. The infeed ram pushes into the spaces between the gridset blades removing residues and increasing productivity.

"Tilt & Go" is the name we have given to their quick change system. The operator can easily remove each of the two gridset parts individually, allowing the machine to be converted quickly to other slice thicknesses. Cleaning the machine poses no problems, thanks to the well-defined separation of cutting area and technical interior and the fact that all machines parts which need to be cleaned can be removed easily. The machine housing is solidly made of stainless steel and the rounded design reflects the attention paid to meeting the most stringent hygiene and safety standards. A protective gate on the outlet side of the gridset prevents accidental contact with the blades.

The "Tilt & Go" quick change system makes removing the two-part harpsets easy.

With the ZEBRA, several products can be cut simultaneously into different slice thicknesses.
