DHS (Dynamic Hydraulic System)
Advantage for the customer
The TREIF patented DHS extends the shelf life of the cut products because much less heat is generated by the machine (in comparison to competitive machines) and therefore considerably less bacteria spreads (hygiene advantage). In addition to that, the machine exhibits less wear which means that service costs can be kept to a minimum; overall this makes the life of the TREIF machine longer.
Technical background
Using a frequency controller, the DHS demands only as much energy from the hydraulics as it needs for the set infeed. Conventional systems without DHS use the maximum amount of oil in the pump for every dice size/ infeed length. Even if this force is not really needed for the set infeed (dice). TREIF DHS regulates the energy supply correspondingly. Smaller dice sizes demand less energy than larger ones. Surplus oil is fed back to the tank. This is the reason for the low heat “generation” of the TREIF machines. Two wear and tear parts are spared by using DHS – a valve and a quantity controller. TREIF dicers with a frequency controller on the pump motor also start up “more smoothly” than conventional systems.
